Forum Peinture à l'huile & acrylique: Re :critique étrangère

c'est pour moi un essai comme un autre d'avoir posté sur un forum autre que superart pour voir les différences de commentaires, j'aurais pus tres bien poster sur un forum francophone et avoir les mêmes commentaires. la prochaine fois je poste en chine just for fun

Ah les ricains ils adorent flatter les étrangers c'est leur force pour entrer en contacts avec nous "allien" puisque la plupart ne savent même pas ou se trouvent la france! bien sur si c'est N-Y "big apple" on peut encore les considérer comme cultiver mais bon faut quand même creuser...si tu as des contacts avec les américains tant mieux pour toi mais saches qu'il va falloir etre très compétitif j'en ai fait l'expérience dans un autre domaine que la peinture pendant 10 ans à San Francisco, Seatlle, Boston, Dallas, Birgmingham, Miami... je te souhaite bonne chance mais ne te prends pas trop la tête car pour eux les meilleurs gagnent et la compétition est rude!
Heureusement que tu as des critiques sur ce site de nous "pauvres français" cela te permettra certainememt parfois de retrouver certaines racines de chez nous pour comprendre ce qu'il se passe outre-atlantique...

voici la critique sur un autre forum, americain je pense...
comme quoi mes toiles on aussi du succès outre antlantique... d'ici que j'aille faire un séjour par là... ;)

There is a nice sense of perspective and you have handled the figures in the water and their reflections extremely well.

Palm trees are deceptively difficult to paint too, so well done for a realistic rendering.

There are one or two things that I think I should mention ( This is not meant as a criticism but just an observation...),and the first is that I feel that there should be some shadows under the trees, particularly at the base. The colour of the sand is pretty much the same value from the foreground to the distant shore,and it would probably help if you tried to lighten it as it stretches away. Finally, I think that the sky under the clouds at the horizon could also do with a tiny bit of lightening, it is a little too dark..and has a greyer tone than the rest of the sky, which is a dazzling blue (nice!!).

I do like this picture though..... well done!!
